Domestic payment operations
KBC Banka AD Belgrade is recognizable for its fast and efficient performance of RSD payment operations. The procedure of opening a current account with our Bank in over 30 cities and towns in Serbia is fast and simple. The account becomes active on the same day. You can perform all domestic payments at moderate price, expediently and without delay, both in interbank transactions or within the bank.
Since April 2005, we have been using the opportunity given by the National Bank of Serbia to process the so-called "small-value payments" (up to RSD250,000) in the RTGS and clearing system of the NBS. Commission for execution of orders is calculated with deferment every 15 days. If your account tracks no turnover in the course of a month, no cost of account maintenance is charged for that month.
High level of the Bank's solvency and state-of-the-art information system, as well as reliable electronic connection with the NBS guarantee execution of orders without delay. Our helpful staff will receive your order even if it is just a minute before closing time.
If you choose electronic payment operations (which is delivered free of charge), you can submit an order in the electronic form 24 hours a day from your home or workplace. If it is submitted after 14:30h and marked as "urgent", it will be executed on the same day provided it is delivered to the bank before 16:25h. Besides, we also grant permanent 20% discount on execution of orders in the electronic form. Under certain conditions (turnover volume,etc), the Bank grants up to 50% discount for orders placed via eBanking. Every change on your account is registered online in our IS regardless which counter processed the order. Every counter is electronically connected with the central data base. Every morning, you can receive the previous day's statement of account.

In the process of execution of international payment operations, KBC Banka is using the protected S.W.I.F.T. technology and wide network of correspondents in the world, so that all the orders are executed safely, swiftly and efficiently.

Notes:The execution within the above stated deadline implies the validity of the received order, which includes the sufficient coverage on the client’s account in KBC Banka (herein and after: Bank) for order and fee, as a SWIFT cost.
The payment of RSD coverage should be recorded on the giro account of the Bank until 12 p.a. for the execution of order on the same day.
The Bank executes the international payment order with a deadline of 2 working days from the day of receipt of the order at the latest, and in accordance with the international standards. The assets are on the account of bank which is the user of payments with the deadline for payment of the payment order, and two days from the deadline for payment at the latest.
By definition, the international banks approve their clients promptly, i.e. with the deadline for payment or within two days from the deadline for payment, but the following general rules apply: the international bank (EU) should approve the user of payments within the deadline of 5 working days from the day of receipt of the transfer in accordance with the internal regulations of the international bank regarding the execution of the received orders (“cut-off time”). For payments toward the non-EU countries, the user of payments will be approved in accordance with the regulations in force in the certain country or bank.
The Bank operates in accordance with the usual international banking practice and executes the orders with due care. The Bank cannot be held responsible for the actions of third parties. The purpose of the Bank operations is the protection of the interests of their clients and assistance in proper execution of client transactions. In case of dispute, the client proves the negligence and of the Bank. The Bank is free from any responsibility if it executes the order which can be interpreted ambiguously or differently, such as in cases of forgery, unauthorized issuance and changing of orders, if it executed the work with good intention and without knowledge that it acted contrary to the actual will of the client. The Bank is free from responsibility of damage compensation if it does not execute the client’s order which is not clear enough or is ambiguous.
The Bank retains the right, in cases of exceptional situations, to breach the stated deadlines. The exceptional situation is any reason of force mayor due to which the Bank does not have the technical possibilities to execute the submitted correct order. In case of delay in the execution of the submitted correct order due to the occurrence of exceptional situation , the interest or any other form of compensation is not paid.
Force mayor:
The Bank shall not be held responsible for the losses or delays which occurred as the result of fire or any other disaster, due to the mechanical, electronic, telecommunication or electric breakdowns or disconnections, as well as the other causes out of the scope of the Bank control. The circumstances out of the scope of the Bank control are without limitations the states of war (declared or undeclared), blocking of assets, limitations emanating from the changes in the regulative, confiscation, nationalization, expropriation, revolution, as well as the enforcement of control and regulative by the public bodies or foreign governments, de jure or de facto. The obligation of the Bank to execute the transfer of assets or return the assets to the ordering party shall be suspended until the completion of the given circumstances.
The ordering party has the possibility of complaint, and the Bank shall do all in its power to protect the client’s interest in accordance with the good business practice.
On the working day preceding the public holiday the Bank shall execute only the orders received by 10 a.m. on that day regardless of the type of transaction. For orders whose coverage is insured by the payment in RSD, the RSD coverage must be recorded within the same deadline on the giro account of the Bank.
The Bank calculates the commission and other costs according to its tariff.
In case of conversion, the Bank applies the forward exchange rates from its exchange rate list.

Local legal entities
In order to execute the international payment order, it is necessary for the employer to submit to us his payment order and the copy of the document based on which the payment is executed (pro forma invoice, invoice, contract, JCI, etc.).
We would like to ask you to pay attention to the correctness of payment instructions, and we would especially like to remind you that it is necessary to fill in the full IBAN code for the EU clients. You can submit your orders personally, by regular mail, fax or email and it will be executed on the same or the following day, and we are sending you the copy of swift in each case. If you possess the foreign exchange on the foreign exchange account, it will be debited by the amount of transfer, and if you are acquiring the foreign exchange through purchase from the Bank, you will receive the calculation for the payment of RSD counter value.

Inflows
If you are receiving money from abroad, pleases send your partner detailed instructions for collection which you obtained from the Bank, in order to accelerate the receipt of your inflow and decrease the costs.
Immediately upon the receipt of inflow, you will be informed and asked to make the order of inflow in accordance with the NBS regulations. KBC Banka A.D. does not charge the inflows from abroad, and your can immediately use your foreign exchange for the international payments or conversion into RSD.
Payment operations toward Kosovo and Metohija
In accordance with the NBS regulations, payments toward Kosovo and Metohija is executed through the purchase of foreign exchange and the procedure is similar as for the international payments. The inflows with Kosovo and Metohija are sold to NBS by obligation and the Bank transfers the RSD upon the receipt, while with the payment of higher commission we enable the disbursement of RSD on the same day when the inflow was received.
